Magnolia Elementary students receive the skills necessary to achieve their potential for a limitless future! To prepare our students for future employment opportunities, it is important to expose students at an early age to computing. Learning and being exposed to computer science at an early age opens the doors for a successful future for our students. We believe that every 21st century child should have a chance to learn about algorithms, debugging/deconstructing, how to make an app, or how to manipulate code in order to make something happen. We also believe that exposing students to the foundations of computer science and computational thinking will close our achievement gap between Reading and Math.

Why should your student attend our school?

  • Having a Computer Science signature identity will empower our low-income and underrepresented racial and ethnic groups who are less likely than other demographic groups to attend schools that offer CS.
